    Less than two hours after our last post warning of the dangers of tick Paralysis, we were presented with a case in a dog from Parkwood reserve by the hospital. It really is important that clients check their dogs daily for ticks !

  • Vet Open Easter Saturday

    With Easter and then the Commonwealth games just around the comer, we are advising that we will be OPEN as normal 8 am-2 pm on Easter Saturday. We will also be offering our Emergency Vet Service during the public holiday weekend pH 0422231658

    We will be closed for Australia day but open as usual Saturday 8am-2pm. Dr Robert will be away this weekend so, for emergencies, please call the Animal Emergency Centre 5593 4544

  • Pancreatitis

    Pancreatitis is more often seen in summer as, while dietary indiscretion is the most commoun cause, dehydration is an important factor in its onset. We have had two severe cases this month both brought on by  dietary changes followed by reduced water intake leading to dehydration For many reasons please ensure your pets have access to water at all times during this summer
